DAILY CLASS CHOICES
You will be asked to rank your top ten choices from these selections, with number 1 being your highest preference. Please choose ten different classes. We will do our best to give you your top six choices on your schedule. You will have these classes every day at the same time.
Amy Weaver – Relationships – How does God want us to view and engage with others in our family, our friendships, and our sisters in Christ?
Beth Erickson – Lessons from 1 & 2 Peter – Growing in faith despite opposition without and within
Gary Fisher – Pilgrim Lessons from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph
Simon Harris – How Do I Know God’s Will for My Life?
Marie Edwards – Zechariah – God’s messages through Haggai & Zechariah are the spark which lit the fire under the returned captives to resume the work of rebuilding the temple. Images from Zechariah’s night visions: horses scouting out the earth, a wall of fire around Zion, a priest’s vile garments replaced with clean ones in the presence of the accuser, a basket holding a woman called “wickedness” being flown away by two women with stork wings, etc. . . .assured them that Yahweh is active, will rescue and will perfectly provide all that is needed for His will to be accomplished. Zechariah’s later prophecies come to a downtrodden, confused Israel. The temple remains yet unfilled with God’s glory. And where are the promised glorious kingdom and its king? Zechariah’s cryptic glimpses into the details of His sovereign rule and plan to set up a city for His redeemed people would provide them with hope in the coming years. Ultimately, his prophecy also assures us that the house of the LORD provides safety, a permanent solution, from the effects of evil in this broken world.
Camellia Allison – Ephesians – God’s Amazing Plan – We will study about God’s amazing plan for His church, even before the foundation of the world, and the blessings that we have being a part of His body. We’ll also learn the responsibilities we have as individual members of that body, in order to build it up and for it to function as God intended.
Teresa Harris – Who is the Holy Spirit? – We will look through the Old and New Testament to see the work and power of God’s Holy Spirit and examine the role He plays in the path and promise of our pilgrim walk.
Julie Curry – Selflessness – Navigating the Journey with Other Pilgrims – This class will focus on our goal of living our life for the Lord and helping others on that journey. We will discuss examples from the Bible and how to apply Godly principles to serving others instead of ourselves.
Cindy Chapman – Ezekiel – Ezekiel was in a place he didn’t want to be, but God used him there to tell others about His glory, His judgment on sin, our responsibility, and the hope that He always gives.

We will learn basic hymn-writing techniques, like meter and rhyme, or get critique and support if you already write hymns. We will especially focus on how to use scriptural content in hymns to encourage others most effectively. You do not need to know anything about writing hymns to join this class! Let’s encourage each other with our songs to God. Led by Emily and Christy Phillips
Bible Study Resources – Create your own tools and resources such as maps, charts, and scripture references to utilize in your daily Bible study! Led by Sarah Nolan and Sara Bullington
History of Hymns – We sing hymns in our worship, but who wrote them? Is there an event that the author experienced that prompted the song idea? Join us, as we dig deeper into the songs that we sing, becoming more aware of the words and ideas that we are singing. We will also take this time to go over some basics in song leading and give those interested a chance to practice. Leading a song will not be mandatory! Led by Rachel Malherbe
Habit Practicing Workshop – We will be doing activities to sharpen skills that can help us on the journey, such as managing time, listening, speaking wisely, and thinking spiritually. Workshop led by Annie Black
Bunk Time – Spend a class period resting quietly in your cabin.
Kitchen Help – Spend a class period in the kitchen washing dishes and cleaning up after a meal.

EVENING CLASS CHOICES
These classes will meet only one time. You will have two classes Monday evening and two Tuesday evening. Please choose six options, ranking your first choice as #1, and we will try to give you your top four if possible.
Sharon Ayres – Hope is an anchor for our soul – Heb 6:19. How hope helps us through the roller coaster of life in the wilderness.
Kaitlin Dick – Growing My Faith – Our faith will be tried and tested, but how do we stay strong? What do I do when I doubt? How can I trust in God? How can I grow my faith? We will look at how men and women, who followed God, wrestled with these same issues and discuss how we can learn from them.
Kelly Maners – Courageously Living and Serving the Lord – Servants of God have faced many things that required great courage. How were they able to do that? How do I serve the Lord when I am scared? How do I serve the Lord when it is hard? Let’s see from the scriptures what courage looks like and how these people were able to do the bold, courageous things they did. This class will give practical things we can remember and do to help us live courageously for the Lord, not only in “big” moments, but everyday.
Claire Sink – Navigating Social Media as a Christian – Social media can be a powerful tool to connect and share with others—but as women who follow Jesus, how can we make sure we’re using it in a way that honors Him? In this class, we’ll talk about struggling with comparison, setting healthy boundaries, and seeking wisdom in what we post and follow.
Ashley Lankford and Megan Berthold – God Give Us Christian Homes – Navigating a dating relationship in purity and wisdom.
Christy Arden – From Victim to Victor: The Role of Suffering in the Life of a Christian – Drawing from key scriptures, we will examine how trials and suffering are not evidence of God’s absence, but opportunities for deepening faith and refining character.
Emily Phillips – Lo, A Spring of Joy I See – How do I find joy in the wilderness? And where? How can I be joyful consistently? In our wilderness world, it often seems impossible to find the joy that God commands. But God does not command impossible things! In this class, we will search the scriptures to discover what kind of joy God expects from us, and how to climb out of the wilderness of the world and onto the mountain of God, singing our songs of ascent all the way!
Nichole Dwyer – I Could Not Do Without You – Moving beyond the checklist into a full relationship with God
Olivia McCauley – Keep My Spirit Staid and Sure – How can I be motivated? How can I be disciplined? How can I grow in devotion with endurance and perseverance?
Stephanie Edwards – Dangers of Worldliness – By simply being born, you become a resident of this world. Once you are born again, you have new, beautiful, eternal citizenship reserved in heaven for you. Now, ideally, life on earth is that of a foreigner living in a foreign land. However, the temptation can be to live as if you have dual citizenship. With that in mind, we will be looking at ways worldliness influences us often without us even knowing. We will explore some ideas to cope with the constant distractions of this physical world. And, we will study examples from God’s word of individuals who conform to this world as well as those who overcome and are transformed.
Lindsey Dobbs – And My Heart Felt Alone – Peer Pressure and Loneliness What if I lose friends because of my faith? How can I tell my friends no and still be friends? What can I do to overcome peer pressure? What if I don’t have many friends?
